Dhaka Inlay hand weaving is a unique and complex weaving style that involves skillful hand and patient. The weavers use mercerized cotton and weave its com plex pattern without any chart or graphics. Culturally, the traditional use of dhaka cloth is for men's cap and ladies blouse and one should wear in several ceremonies like in wedding and other ritual cermony. The weaving has supported many weavers in rural areas as it has become subsistence income earning opportunity. The cloth is woven in yard by meter and also various ready made products such as shawl, scarf and bags, cushion cover etc.
